Privacy policy
Fusefall is made by Lightvane Labs (Christian Hansen), Denmark. This policy explains what data the game handles and why. Questions or requests: privacy@fusefall.com.
Playing offline
You can play Fusefall without signing in. Offline, the game does not send any data anywhere: your progress and settings are stored only on your device, encrypted, and are removed when you uninstall the game.
Playing online
If you choose to sign in with Google Play Games, an online profile is created on our server. We then process:
- Your Google Play Games player ID, which Google gives us when you sign in, so we know which profile is yours.
- A display name: your Play Games name or a generated one, which you can change in the game.
- Game progress: coins, gems, upgrades, unlocked items, tiers and statistics.
- Run results: score, wave reached, length and time of each online run, used to award rewards and keep the game fair.
We do not collect your email address, real name, contacts, location, advertising ID or device identifiers, and the game contains no advertising or analytics tools.
Your internet address (IP) is used by our hosting provider for the moment of each request, for example to limit abuse. We do not store it.
Why, and on what basis
- To provide the online profile you ask for, keep your progress and run the game fairly: necessary to provide the service (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)).
- To protect the service against cheating and abuse: our legitimate interest (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)).
Where the data is kept
Online data is stored with Cloudflare, our hosting provider, in a database restricted to the European Union. Sign-in is handled by Google Play Games, which Google provides under its own privacy policy. We do not sell or share your data with anyone else.
Purchases
If in-app purchases are offered, payment is handled entirely by Google Play. We only receive confirmation that a purchase was made, never your payment details.
How long we keep it
We keep your online profile until you delete it. Short-lived technical error logs are kept by our hosting provider for a few days.
Your rights
You can at any time ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected, or have it deleted. You can delete your account yourself in the game (Profile → Delete account) or as described on the delete account page. You also have the right to complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency, Datatilsynet.
Children
Online features require a Google Play Games account, which Google offers only to people who meet its age requirements. Offline play involves no data collection at all.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
